What does ‘being aligned’ mean? And why is it so important to focus on alignment when you are on your mat? My answer is always that alignment comes from being yourself and focusing on who you are when you step on the mat. That’s the starting point from which you’ll let me guide you.
I have been teaching, breathing, and feeling yoga for the past 5 years, but like all of us, I have been practising yoga since I was born because yoga is part of everyday and everyone’s life.
How is my teaching and who takes my classes? I have learned so much about my body in all the years of working out myself, working as a personal trainer and teaching reformer Pilates, but yoga has made me who I am now. I am Aligned. You too can become Aligned and when you do, you’ll feel that burn, you’ll get that sweat on the mat, and you’ll progress in your strength, flexibility, holding or transitioning in some challenging poses in no time. And even if it takes longer than expected, you will still do amazingly with your best abilities, as long you show up on your mat.
My group classes are varied with plenty of cuing and catering to all levels. Everyone is welcome as I provide options for new starters, intermediate and more advanced yogis. An Aligned yoga practice becomes a moving meditation, offering both movement and enlightenment.
